Drawing experienced artists and designers from around the world, the Interdisciplinary Master’s in Art, Media and Design (IAMD) encourages art production that combines design, writing and interdisciplinary academic study in the creation of new forms of visual and social research and impactful arts ideas. Each student’s primary focus within art, design or media-based practices informs their theoretical inquiry and determines degree outcomes as either MFA, MDes or MA. Students thrive in open and collaborative creative environments led by approachable and accomplished faculty. Matchless opportunities for innovative learning are offered through visiting experts, internships, independent studies and the Annual First-Year Graduate Student Exhibition.
